Tracking the Price of Butter

The Butter - West U.S. report from the USDA provides an overview of 80% butterfat butter, including spot prices, production, sales trends, inventories and market tone. Information is collected confidentially from manufacturers, end users, brokers and traders. Prices are given in U.S. dollars/pound F.O.B. During non-holiday weeks, the report is released weekly on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Central Time.
